Hibiscus and Amla Hair Pack
By THENVANAM Editorial · ·
In short
Mix equal parts hibiscus flower powder and amla powder with aloe vera gel until you have a smooth, spreadable pack. Apply to hair and scalp, leave it on, then rinse thoroughly. Prepare fresh for each use.

What you need
- 1 part THENVANAM Hibiscus Flower Powder
- 1 part THENVANAM Amla Powder
- Aloe vera gel, water or yogurt as the base
Makes One application for shoulder-length hair · 5 minutes
Method
Mix the powders
Combine equal parts hibiscus and amla powder in a clean, dry bowl.
Add the base
Add aloe vera gel gradually, stirring until the mixture is smooth and spreadable. Water or yogurt can be used instead.
Apply to hair and scalp
Apply the pack evenly through the scalp and length of the hair.
Rinse thoroughly
Rinse out completely with water. Both powders are strongly coloured, so rinse for longer than you might expect.
Adding bhringraj
Bhringraj is the third powder commonly added to this pack, in a smaller proportion than the other two. If you are using all three, keep hibiscus and amla as the base and add bhringraj on top of that rather than in equal measure.
This is a traditional preparation, not a treatment. Prepare only what you need for a single use, patch test any new powder, and follow the usage guidance on each product page.
Key takeaways
- Equal parts hibiscus and amla is the standard base for this pack.
- Aloe vera gel gives the smoothest mix; water and yogurt both work.
- Rinse thoroughly — both powders carry strong natural colour.
- Bhringraj can be added in a smaller proportion.
